The Community Media Lab recently developed into the DIGITAL MEDIA COLLABORATORY, a project meant to take advantage of a wireless network and equip area schools/community centers with cameras and video editing and media design softwares.
The full vision involves an open source network of local content producers who would be able to upload their work onto the system, funneled into KLRN's three digital channels.
