Texas Music Television Series
13 to 17 part series of half hourmusic video featuring moments in Texas History.
Each show will be built around a simple
plot that establishes the reason for a
musical event, a dance, a wedding, a
campfire.
The show will trace the chronology
of Texan music and provide the musical
pallet from which the music of the opera
will be fashioned.
The series will be broadcast on KLRN and
offered to PBS for national distribution.
When the series is completed, the music
will be crafted into a symphonic like piece
which will be premiered at the ground
breaking ceremony for the amphitheater.
Each show will cost $10,000 to $15,000
and can carry sponser information. The
show will promote the opera, the web site,
and South Texas.
Many of the core players will be in ahphitheater orchestra.
Cost $300,000 can be underwritten by advertising.
