If you bring this letter with you, you will be able to enter and see the entire museum free after 4:00 p.m. on April 10th, the day of the reception. If you are 12 years old or younger, "Project Peacemaker" will give you a nonviolent toy or software program in exchange for one of your violent toys if you bring your violent toy with you to the Children's Museum before the reception, on April 10th from 2-6 p.m.. Project Peace Makers is a non-profit community education and awareness event hosted by Discovery Toys Consultants in San Antonio, in partnership with the Metropolitan Health District and the peaceCENTER. In addition to the toy exchange, we will provide parents with bilingual literature supporting the important of positive, nonviolent play. The Picture the Peaces entries will be on display at the Children's Museum, 305 E. Houston Street, during the entire month of April. Their phone number is (210) 212-4453. A Reader's Theater featuring Feathers and Foots by Mem Fox and When Stories Fell Like Shooting Stars by Valiska Gregory will be hosted by the San Antonio Library as part of Picture the Peaces during the rception at the Children's Museum.
