The Buck Stops Here
Everyone wants Peace on Earth, so they say.
However, no one seems to work to make it that way.
For Peace in you Hear is utmost in mind.
But, we all like to keep our head turned behind.
Kindness, Forgiveness, Charity all start at home.
Yet, we always fight, complain, and then moan.
How can we expect those in far away lands,
To have Peace with us when we don't understand?
Let there be Peace on Earth and let it begin with me.
An age old song that rings true to the key
We must look inside for compassion, not pride.
Embrace all those near us with our arms open wide.
Be accepting, be loving, be generous, be kind.
Refuse to accept hatred, refuse to be blind.
Love the neighbor beside you and the one in far lands.
Together we will have Peace when we all join hands.
