| JURIED ART EXHIBIT
Trinity University, The San Antonio peaceCENTER, and Texans for Peace
announce a juried art exhibit in connection with the Walls Symposium at the Holt Center, Trinity University, San Antonio, Texas.
This event is open to all students and professional artists within the state of Texas. There will be two separate categories, judged independentlystudent and professional. Everyone is invited to the opening reception, 5:30PM to 7:30 PM on Sunday, February 15th, 2009, at the Holt Conference Center, 106 Oakmont Court. Awards will be announced at 6:30PM.

CONDITIONS:
A. No Entry Fee
B. One work per artist in the following media: all work must be submitted on a brick. The brick may be painted, may be the base material for a collage, may be of the artists' choosing. The entire piece shall be no larger than 12 x12x12. No previously submitted works accepted. No pieces which incorporate liquids or materials that are of a toxic nature.
C. Include a 3 x 5 inches or larger identification card & attach to back and front of each work. State name, institution if applicable, title of work, and category, professional or student.
D. While every precaution will be taken to see that no damage occurs to the entries, neither Trinity University, nor any of the sponsors or endorsers will assume responsibility in any case of damage or loss.
E. Works will be accepted at University Presbyterian Church, 300 Bushnell Avenue, 78212, at the office, between the hours of 10AM and 4PM beginning Tuesday, February 10th and continuing until Friday, February 13th. No entries will be accepted the day of the exhibit opening.
F. The show ends on Tuesday, February 17th, 2009. Works must be picked up at the Holt Center, between the hours of 10AM and 4PM.
PLEASE NOTE: Trinity University, nor any of the sponsors or endorsers will be responsible for works left after the deadline.
Best of show winners in each category will receive gift certificates from local merchants, to be determined. Sponsors reserve the right to publicize winners and their entries. Sales are not permitted on site. Jurors include local artists and academics.
