COMPUTER RECYCLING FOR EDUCATION and COMMUNITY ENHANCING RESOURCES

CRECER is a not-for-profit, tax-exempt organization that seeks to improve local access to computers and information. CRECER awards recycled computer equipment to other not-for-profit organizations--schools, libraries, human service organizations, etc. CRECER has a special interest in assisting low income and rural populations.

Please join the CompRecycle listserv. CompRecycle was formed in September 1996 with the following goals:

1) To examine the appropriate use of recycled computer technology in building an infrastructure for education and community access,
2) To promote development of low-cost information access solutions using any appropriate blend of technologies (cross-platform solutions), and
3) To facilitate the exchange of equipment and information between recycling projects.
